In the production of fruit juices, purees and jams, filtration and screening are the critical steps that determine product clarity, mouthfeel and quality. Whether it is apple juice, orange juice, grape juice or blended fruit and vegetable juice, the raw juice straight from the press is always "cloudy" – containing pulp fibres, peel fragments, seed pieces, coarse fibre, and small amounts of trace foreign matter that may be introduced during processing.
If these impurities are not removed, the problems are immediate: cloudy finished product, rough mouthfeel, and shortened shelf life.
But "filtering the juice clean" is easier said than done. Fruit puree contains large amounts of fibre and pectin. The high‑viscosity material easily blinds the mesh openings. After ordinary filtration equipment runs for a while, the screen becomes clogged – either you stop to clean it, or you struggle to keep going. Either way, line efficiency suffers.

Gaofu filtration sieve adopts vibration motors as the excitation source. It is a small‑sized vibrating screening equipment designed for easy working‑surface movement, featuring high‑efficiency screening, low noise and compact structure.The equipment can achieve screening fineness up to 400 mesh (0.038 mm) , with filtration accuracy covering the full range from coarse filtration to fine filtration.
The equipment supports single‑deck screen configuration , primarily used for processing smaller production volumes or materials with fewer impurities. In juice filtration, different mesh sizes can be flexibly configured according to product requirements – from 20‑mesh coarse filtration to remove peel and seeds, to fine filtration above 100 mesh for clear, bright juice – all with a single machine.
Three‑Dimensional Vibration: Rapid Solid‑Liquid Separation
There are significant physical differences between the solid impurities in juice (pulp fibres, peel fragments, etc.) and the liquid portion (the juice itself). Three‑dimensional vibration causes the juice to form a fluidised thin layer on the screen surface – the liquid portion passes through the screen rapidly, while solid impurities are retained on the screen surface because their particle size is larger than the mesh openings.
Under vibration, the retained impurities move along the screen surface and are automatically discharged from the reject port, achieving continuous solid‑liquid separation. The equipment can run 24 hours continuously without frequent stoppages for cleaning.
Anti‑Blinding Design: Solving the High‑Fibre Blinding Problem
Fruit juice and puree contain large amounts of fibre and pectin, and the high‑viscosity material easily blinds the mesh openings. The Gaofu juice filtration sieve incorporates anti‑blinding design – the mesh openings do not block, and powder does not escape.
A food‑grade silicone bouncing ball cleaning system is placed under the screen deck, continuously tapping the underside of the screen during operation to dislodge fibre and pectin particles blocking the mesh openings. Continuous, automatic, and requiring no manual intervention – effectively solving the common problem of traditional filters blinding and requiring frequent stoppages for cleaning.
Automatic Discharge of Impurities: Continuous Operation Without Stoppage
After traditional filtration equipment runs for a period, filter cake accumulates on the screen surface and requires stoppage for cleaning. During screening with the Gaofu juice filtration sieve, impurities and oversize material automatically move along the screen surface to the reject port and are discharged. The equipment can run 24 hours continuously without frequent stoppages for cleaning, effectively supporting large‑scale continuous juice production.
