After pressing or pulping, raw fruit juice contains a large amount of solid matter that needs to be removed. These impurities fall into three main categories: coarse impurities such as peel fragments, seeds, coarse fibre and membrane; medium impurities such as medium‑sized pulp fibres and pectin particles; and fine impurities such as fine suspended solids, protein flocculates and tiny pulp particles.
In actual juice production, filtration is typically carried out in two stages: coarse filtration to remove large particles, and fine filtration to further remove fine suspended solids and fibre residues. Traditional filtration methods often require multiple equipment units to complete the process – dispersed steps, low efficiency, and multiple material transfer points. The Gaofu S49 series fruit juice rotary vibrating sieve operates on the three‑dimensional gyratory motion principle. The equipment uses a vertical vibration motor as the excitation source, with eccentric weights installed at the upper and lower ends of the motor shaft converting the rotational motion into compound motion in horizontal, vertical and tilting directions. This compound motion is transmitted to the screen deck, causing the material to move in an expanding involute trajectory on the screen surface.
The value of this three‑dimensional vibration for juice impurity separation is reflected in three stages:
Stage 1: Rapid spreading of the slurry to form a thin flowing layer. The high‑frequency, low‑amplitude excitation force causes the juice to spread quickly into a thin layer on the screen surface, reducing flow resistance and allowing the liquid to pass through the screen rapidly. Screening fineness can reach up to 600 mesh (0.02 mm) and filtration precision down to 5 microns.
Stage 2: Automatic discharge of impurities without manual intervention. Solid impurities retained on the screen surface – such as pulp fibres and peel fragments – move along the screen under vibration and are automatically discharged from the reject port. The equipment can run 24 hours continuously without frequent stoppages for cleaning.
Stage 3: Adjustable motion trajectory to suit different juices. By adjusting the phase angle of the upper and lower weights, the motion trajectory and residence time of the material on the screen surface can be changed to suit juice slurries of different viscosities and impurity contents.

First deck (coarser mesh, e.g., 20 mesh): Intercepts large impurities such as peel fragments, membrane, coarse pulp and seeds. Coarse residue is automatically discharged from the first reject port.
Second deck (finer mesh, e.g., 80 mesh): Removes fine fibres, pectin and suspended solids. After fine filtration, the juice is clear and bright, ready for the filling process.
One machine, one feed – coarse and fine filtration completed simultaneously. Material does not need to be transferred between equipment, reducing the risk of secondary contamination and significantly improving line efficiency.
