The physical characteristics of mustard powder present three major challenges during screening:


Easy agglomeration. Mustard contains a certain proportion of plant fibre – after grinding, these fibres exist as fine particles in the powder, easily intertwining to form agglomerates. The fibrous components cause powder adhesion and lumping, increasing particle size and reducing screening efficiency.


Easy screen blinding. Mustard powder has strong adsorbability and tends to generate static electricity. During screening, friction between particles readily produces static charges – powder adheres to the screen surface and blocks the mesh. Ordinary screens can become "clogged" almost instantly when screening mustard powder, leading to frequent stoppages for cleaning.


Low bulk density. Mustard powder particles are fine, light, and easily suspended – on conventional screening equipment, they struggle to pass through high‑mesh screens by gravity alone, often failing to meet design expectations for screening accuracy and throughput.

  • Three‑Dimensional Vibration: The Physical Foundation for Simultaneous Impurity Removal and Grading

Gaofu's S49 series mustard powder rotary vibrating sieve uses a vertical vibration motor as the excitation source. Eccentric weights installed at the top and bottom of the motor convert rotary motion into a three‑dimensional compound motion (horizontal, vertical, and inclined), which is transmitted to the screen surface. Material moves on the screen surface in an outward involute spiral path – spreading from the centre toward the periphery.


By adjusting the phase angle of the upper and lower eccentric weights, the material's movement trajectory and residence time on the screen can be flexibly changed to suit different materials such as mustard powder.

  • Multi‑Deck Screens: One Feed Completes Both Impurity Removal and Grading

Gaofu's mustard powder rotary vibrating sieve supports flexible configurations of 1 to 5 screen decks , enabling 2 to 6 grades of separation or filtration simultaneously in a single feed. Screening fineness can reach up to 600 mesh (0.02 mm) , with filtration precision down to 5 microns.
