Feed comes in many forms, and different material types present different screening difficulties:
Pellet feeds: Pellets produced by granulation, crushing, or expansion need to be graded by particle size while simultaneously removing broken pieces and fines. Oversized pellets affect animal intake, while excessive powder causes waste and dust pollution. Balancing screening accuracy and throughput is the key.
Powdered feeds and premixes: Premixes containing vitamins, trace minerals, and other additives have fine particle sizes and high value – they are prone to dusting, electrostatic adhesion, and caking. Screening equipment must maintain accuracy while preventing over‑grinding and loss of active ingredients.
High oil content in raw materials: Some feed ingredients (such as fish meal and certain protein meals) contain high levels of oil, which tend to block the screen mesh on conventional vibrating screens, reducing screening efficiency and requiring frequent stoppages for cleaning.
Gaofu's S49 series rotary vibrating sieve uses a vertical vibration motor as the excitation source. Eccentric weights installed at the top and bottom of the motor convert rotary motion into a three‑dimensional compound motion (horizontal, vertical, and inclined), which is transmitted to the screen surface. Material spreads outward on the screen surface in a circular spiral path, travelling a relatively long screening distance across a relatively small screening area.
By adjusting the phase angle of the upper and lower eccentric weights, the material's movement trajectory and residence time on the screen can be flexibly changed to suit different feed materials. Impurities and oversize material are automatically discharged, supporting continuous operation.
1. Multi‑deck grading design – multiple specifications from one feed
Gaofu's rotary vibrating sieve can be configured with 1 to 5 screen decks , enabling a single machine to produce 2 to 6 different particle size fractions simultaneously. Whether removing oversized particles or screening out fine powder and debris, precise control is achieved by selecting the appropriate mesh size. Classification efficiency reaches 90% to 98%. Different animal species and growth stages require different feed particle sizes – with a single pass, multiple specifications such as puppy and adult dog food, or small‑breed and large‑breed dog food, can be obtained simultaneously.
2. High screening accuracy – controllable fineness
Gaofu's rotary vibrating sieve achieves screening accuracy up to 600 mesh (0.02 mm) and filtration precision down to 5 microns. Grading fineness covers 10 to 400 mesh. Whether for coarse feed impurity removal or fine grading of premixes, additives, and other ultra‑fine powders, suitable screen configurations are available.
3. Anti‑blinding design – eliminating frequent stoppages
To address the blinding tendency of feed materials, Gaofu's rotary vibrating sieve is equipped with a bouncing ball cleaning system that continuously strikes the screen surface to prevent blinding. For ultra‑fine powders or electrostatic materials, an ultrasonic cleaning system can be optionally added – using ultrasonic energy to break electrostatic adhesion and significantly improve screening efficiency.
4. 304 stainless steel construction – meeting feed hygiene standards
All material‑contact parts are made of 304 food‑grade stainless steel (316L available on request), offering excellent corrosion resistance and complying with feed and food additive hygiene standards. The internal design has no dead corners or exposed bolts, is easy to disassemble and clean thoroughly, and effectively prevents cross‑contamination.
5. Fully enclosed structure – clean, dust‑free production
