  • Working Principle of the Linear Vibrating Screen – Why It Is Better Suited for High‑Throughput Screening

Gaofu's SZF series linear vibrating screen uses dual vibrating motors operating in synchronised opposite directions. When the two motors run in opposite directions, the lateral excitation forces cancel each other out, while the longitudinal forces are transmitted to the entire screen box, generating stable linear vibration on the screen surface. Material is thrown up on the screen and moves forward in a straight line in a bouncing motion – particles smaller than the screen openings pass through to the lower layer, while oversize material travels along the screen surface to the outlet.

Material moves in a straight line on the screen surface, providing a long screening path and high screen utilisation. Unlike the spiral spreading motion of circular vibrating screens, the bouncing forward motion of the linear screen causes the material bed to be continuously turned, loosened, and stratified – giving fines ample opportunity to pass through the screen. Single‑machine throughput reaches 15‑500 t/h , suitable for both small‑batch fine screening and large‑scale continuous production line operations.

The equipment supports flexible configurations of 1 to 5 screen decks , enabling a single machine to produce 2 to 6 different particle size fractions simultaneously.
