Material enters the V‑shaped crushing chamber between the two rollers from the top feed opening. Through the friction and compression force of the roller surfaces, material is drawn into the crushing chamber and subjected to continuous high‑pressure compression and shearing action. When the material is crushed to less than the gap between the two rollers, it is discharged from the bottom. The gap between the two rollers directly determines the discharge particle size – a larger gap produces coarser particles; a smaller gap produces finer particles.
