The core design of Gaofu's multi‑deck salt tumbler screen lies in synchronous multi‑deck grading. The equipment supports flexible configurations of 1 to 5 screen decks arranged from coarse to fine. Material enters from the top feed port and passes through each deck sequentially – coarse particles are retained on the upper deck, medium particles pass through the upper deck and are retained on the lower deck, and fine powder passes through all decks into the bottom hopper. In a single feed, 2 to 6 particle size grades are separated simultaneously.

The tumbler screen's hand‑screening mimicking action causes material to move in a spiral involute path on the screen surface, providing a screening path far longer than linear vibrating screens or rotary vibrating screens. A longer screening path means material has more opportunities to contact the screen mesh, resulting in more complete and pure separation of each particle size grade.
