  • Core Principles of Continuous Conveying Design

The core principles of Gaofu's integrated vacuum feeder solution for flour production lines can be summarised as: replacing manual labour with piping, replacing open handling with enclosed conveying, and replacing manual operation with automation.


Integrated design – seven functions in one.

Gaofu's feeding system integrates seven functions – material unloading, storage, screening, impurity removal, batching, mixing, and packaging – into a single solution. It is not a simple stack of individual machines, but an integrated solution covering the entire production process. From the moment raw materials enter the plant, they enter an enclosed processing flow.


Modular configuration for flexible adaptation.

The system uses modular design, comprising four core units: a dust‑free feeding station, intelligent screening module, pneumatic conveying system, and visualisation control centre. It can be flexibly configured according to different production scenarios – bulk materials are delivered directly to silos via dedicated tankers, avoiding secondary handling contamination; small‑bag materials are opened and screened at the dust‑free feeding station, with dust collected in real time.


Fully enclosed operation – dust‑free throughout.

Using fully enclosed pneumatic conveying design, raw materials never contact air or personnel from feeding through conveying. The system effectively controls workshop dust concentration to ≤10 mg/m³, complying with the requirements of the General Hygiene Standard for Food Production (GB 14881‑2013). The internal surfaces of conveying pipes are mirror‑polished, with no dead corners and minimal material residue.


  • Stage‑by‑Stage Integration from Storage to Mixing

Stage 1: Raw material receiving and storage – direct tanker delivery + intelligent silos.

Bulk flour can be delivered directly to the workshop via dedicated tankers and transferred to intelligent silos using negative‑pressure conveying technology. Gaofu's intelligent raw material receiving unit uses negative‑pressure conveying technology for directional material transfer through enclosed piping, achieving conveying efficiency of 8‑12 tonnes per hour. Silos are equipped with top‑mounted dust collection devices that continuously purify dust within the silo – no raw material exposure or secondary contamination throughout.


For small‑bag flour, the dust‑free feeding station completes bag opening and feeding. The dust‑free feeding station intercepts dust and foreign matter carried over from transfer at the source. The feeding platform operates under negative pressure – no dust leakage, no material loss during feeding.


Stage 2: Screening and impurity removal – online screening, completed simultaneously.

Flour may form lumps due to moisture absorption or become contaminated with packaging debris during storage and transport. Gaofu's feeding system integrates a vibrating screening module – before entering the conveying pipe, raw materials pass through high‑efficiency screening to effectively remove lumps, impurities, and foreign matter. The online screening module is equipped with multi‑layer vibrating screens, simultaneously completing impurity separation, particle grading, and other pre‑treatment processes, with screening accuracy adjustable from 100‑300 mesh. The screened fine flour is then conveyed through enclosed piping to the next process – achieving integrated "screening‑conveying" operation.


Stage 3: Conveying and transfer – positive/negative pressure pneumatic conveying.

Gaofu's flour production line is equipped with a dual‑mode positive + negative pressure pneumatic conveying system. Negative‑pressure vacuum conveying enables rapid material transfer and storage; positive‑pressure conveying, combined with high‑precision weighing sensors, achieves precise metering. Conveying capacity covers 200‑6000 kg/h, with conveying distances of 1‑30 metres. Fully enclosed pipe conveying – dust‑free, leak‑free – keeps the workshop clean. Material loss during conveying is minimal, and material properties are not compromised.


Stage 4: Precise metering – online weighing with controlled error.

For different material types – flour, sugar powder, oil, water – the system is equipped with dedicated automatic metering modules. Accuracy for flour and sugar powder ≤±0.5%, for oil and water ≤±0.3%. For medium‑to‑large batches, batching accuracy can reach ±0.2%. Multiple batching methods are available – gain‑in‑weight, loss‑in‑weight, and dynamic multi‑component. The online weighing hopper enables dynamic metering – precise flour metering is the prerequisite for "just‑right dough consistency and uniform gluten development."


Stage 5: Automatic mixing – sequence control, seamless operation.

The system incorporates an intelligent coordinated control module – flour, sugar powder, and other ingredients are automatically fed at the right rate according to the process sequence, without manual intervention, achieving seamless "feeding‑mixing‑forming" operation. The system can automatically adjust feed rate and timing according to production schedules, achieving synchronous coordination between processes. It can connect multiple mixers on a single pipeline – quantitative feeding does not occupy mixing time, significantly improving production rhythm.
