The centrifugal sifter takes a completely different technical approach. Its screen is cylindrical and mounted inside the machine body. Material is mixed and atomised with airflow after passing through a screw conveying system, then enters the cylindrical screen drum. Inside the drum, rotor blades subject the material to both centrifugal force and propelling force, forcing the material to pass through the screen. Particles that pass through are discharged from the fines outlet, while oversize material travels along the screen wall and is discharged from the oversize outlet.
The core difference lies in this: flour no longer relies on gravity to settle through the screen, but is "actively" carried through by airflow.
