How to effectively control energy consumption while ensuring screening accuracy, and how to reduce operating costs while increasing throughput, have become key considerations for flour processors during equipment selection.
The centrifugal sifter abandons the conventional vibrating screen's reliance on gravitational force, instead using air kinetic energy for screening. Its working principle is: material is mixed and atomised with airflow after passing through a screw conveying system, then enters a cylindrical screen drum. Inside the drum, rotor blades subject the material to both centrifugal force and propelling force, forcing it to pass through the screen. Fine particles that pass through are discharged from the fines outlet, while oversize material travels along the screen wall and is discharged from the oversize outlet.
The core of this technical approach is that flour no longer relies on gravity to settle through the screen, but is "actively" carried through by airflow. The lightweight, easily floating nature of the powder is fully utilised – material is thoroughly dispersed in the airflow, breaking down agglomerates, so that individual particles pass through the screen sequentially with the airflow.
