In the salt pre‑treatment stage, crushing and screening are natural partners – yet they are often forced to live in two separate machines. Material comes out of the crusher, then has to be lifted, conveyed and screened again before moving to the next step. More machines mean more transfer points, which naturally leads to more dust escape, more energy loss and more frequent maintenance.
The starting point of the Gaofu Integrated Salt Crusher is very straightforward: put two processes into one machine. Material enters once, classification and crushing happen at the same time – on‑spec product is discharged directly, oversize lumps are treated on the spot – and no intermediate transfer is needed.
The traditional "crush first, screen later" approach sends all material – whether on‑spec or not – through the crusher first. That means salt lumps that are already up to standard are crushed unnecessarily, wasting energy and generating extra fines.
The integrated salt crusher works the opposite way:
Material first goes through a screening unit for classification;
On‑spec salt particles pass through the screen and are discharged directly into the finished product collection system;
Only the oversize lumps that are retained by the screen enter the crushing chamber;
Crushed material falls back onto the screen deck, forming an internal closed‑loop to ensure the final product meets the required particle size.
This "screen first, crush second, closed‑loop" logic prevents unnecessary crushing of on‑spec material and keeps the generation of fines under control.

Wear‑ and Corrosion‑Resistant Construction
Salt challenges equipment on two fronts – physical abrasion and chemical corrosion. The integrated salt crusher uses wear‑resistant alloy materials on all key contact parts, with optional corrosion‑resistant treatment and food‑grade stainless steel to suit the corrosive environment of industrial salt and the hygiene requirements of table salt.
Fully Enclosed Structure

Low Over‑Crushing Rate
The crushing action is based mainly on compression and splitting, not high‑speed impact. Salt lumps crack along their natural fissures, generating fewer fines, and the finished particles are relatively regular in shape – beneficial for subsequent packing or further processing.
